YMCA's are volunteer founded, and volunteer led. The Athens YMCA has numerous opportunities to get involved - from teaching youth soccer to serving on a committee.

Please note, the YMCA conducts a thorough background check on all employees and volunteers. The YMCA does a nationwide "NCIC" search, a sexual predator search, and county of residence misdemeanor search.
